Popovin perinteinen lakitus 30.4. klo 11 alkaen Kotkan Isopuistossa!
Tänä vuonna Kotkan Insinööriopiskelijat lakittavat Alexander Popovin patsaan insinöörihatulla jo 15. kertaa. Tarjolla myös munkkia ja simaa!
Lakituksen yhteydessä uudet insinööriopiskelijat saavat lakin käyttöoikeuden ja lakit voidaan painaa päähän! Jos et omista imppulakkia, tule kuitenkin painamaan sun oma vappulakki päähäsi kanssamme. Tapahtuma on avoin kaikkien alojen opiskelijoille.
Lakituksen jälkeen ohjelmassa on simajoogaa. Nimensä mukaisesti juoman ei kuitenkaan tarvitse olla simaa vaan mikä tahansa vappujuoma käy.
PS. Popovin patsas sijaitsee Itäkadun ja Papinkadun risteyksessä Isopuiston kulmalla.

Traditional Capping of Popov – April 30th at 11:00 AM in Kotka's Isopuisto!
This year, the engineering students of Kotka will cap the statue of Alexander Popov with an engineering cap for the 15th time. There will also be donuts and mead available!
During the capping ceremony, new engineering students will earn the right to wear the engineering cap, and the caps can be officially donned! If you don’t have an engineering cap, you’re still welcome to come and put on your own May Day cap with us. The event is open to students from all fields.
After the capping, the program continues with "mead yoga." As the name suggests, the drink doesn’t have to be mead — any May Day beverage will do.
P.S. The Popov statue is located at the corner of Itäkatu and Papinkatu, in the corner of Isopuisto.
